Chocolate Berry Smoothie Bowl

Alright, this smoothie bowl is for the *ladies* because its a GREAT one to have during your time of the month to help with cravings. Plus, it contains TONS of helpful ingredients your body needs during this time!


🛒What you'll need🛒

- 2 cups mixed berries

- 1 cup vanilla almond milk (or a liquid of your choice, this is just my favorite)

- 1/2 tbs chia seeds

- 1/2 tbs ground flax seeds

- 0.5oz raw almonds

- 2 tbs chocolate chips



🍴How to make it🍴

- Bend berries & almond milk in a blender on "pulse" until smooth

- Pour mixture into a bowl. I prefer a coconut bowl over a ceramic one because the coconut makes it so the smoothie doesn't melt so quickly! (Link for the coconut bowls I use are at the top of my home page)

- Top with almonds, chia seeds, flax seeds & chocolate chips (in rows, its just aesthetically pleasing that way)

- Enjoy!



📝Notes📝

- This bowl contains plenty of antioxidants, especially from the berries!

- Flax seeds & chia seeds contain a lot of omega-3's & fiber, important things to have while on your cycle!

- Chocolate contains magnesium which is known to help cramps

- The almonds have properties that help reduce swelling (particularly breast pain) during your mensural cycle. They also have lots of protein to keep you stratified & energized during a time where we feel so sluggish!
