Hannah's Strawberry Summer Salad

🛒What You’ll Need🛒
Baby spinach (one 0.5oz container)
Chicken breast (I use thinly sliced, 2lbs)
Chopped pecans or walnuts (or both!)
Feta cheese (one 6oz container)
Strawberries (1lb)
1/4 cup Olive oil
1/2cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbs Dijon mustard
1/4 cup real maple syrup
Salt
Pepper
Sugar (white, to taste)
🍴How to Make it🍴
Cut chicken into bite sized pieces & cook on the stove with a little olive oil (not from the 1/4 cup) & salt/pepper till golden brown
For the dressing, combine: balsamic, olive oil, mustard, & maple syrup. Then add a pinch of sally & pepper. then sugar to taste (dressing should be sweet).
Layer in a bowl: spinach, chicken, strawberries, nuts, feta, dressing (don’t mix before serving, the layers are too pretty!)

Ingredients keep in the fridge for 7-10 days
Store dressing separately from salad
You only need a small amount of dressing per serving (around 2-3tbs), it’s very rich!
ive made this dressing my whole life so I “eye ball” and taste for the right dressing flavor/concoction. The dressing should be sweet and have a slightly more balsamic flavor (to compliment the berries but not over power them)
